Born in London, Kate Adie spent her childhood in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). After studying law at the London School of Economics, she worked for various British television stations. She is today an award-winning foreign correspondent, one of the most respected journalists on the airwaves. Her reportage on famine in Africa and on genocide in Rwanda brought her many honors including two Emmy awards and two Peabody awards
Adie lives with her husband in England.
